Welcome to tutoral!

Welcome to tutoral and our only question is, how can you help your child reach their full potential?

To book a FREE face to face or online tuition session or to find out more about how we can help, please get in contact.

At tutoral, we provide 1:1 and small group tutoring for primary and secondary learners both online and face to face in a learner’s home. We are determined to help the children (and sometimes adults) we work with be the very best they can be whilst having FUN!

How we can help

Bespoke maths and English tuition – online!
We have quickly become experts in 1:1 English and maths online tuition helping learners grow in confidence. In our free initial session, we will work with all of you to understand what you and your child wants from each session and help you achieve the results you’re looking for.

English and maths tutoring in your home
We know that learners work best when there’s face to face contact. Although we have all started to get used to online learning, it’s obvious that they all enjoy the experience much more when learning in the familiar setting of their own home. By understanding how your child learns best, we can put together a programme to help them achieve their potential.

Group homework or booster sessions
We are also happy to put together a set of sessions to help a group of learners who can share both the learning experience and the cost. If your child and their classmates work well together and one of the families is happy to host, learning in a group can benefit everyone no matter what level of challenge they are working at.

Keeping everyone safe
Amazingly, there is still no requirement for tutors to have even a standard DBS check from the government’s Disclosure and Barring Service. In addition to all of the team having enhanced DBS checks, we follow all advice from the government with regards to COVID-19 to help keep all of our learners safe.

Tutoring at times that fit in with you
We can help fit your learning around your work and home schedule. Our standard lessons are available to book between 8am and 9pm Monday to Friday and between 10am and 4pm on weekends. However, we’re sometimes able to fit in other times so just get in contact and we’ll try our very best to help.

A variety of online classrooms
Rather than look for a single solution, we have used a variety of different online platforms to make tailored interactive learning experiences. Using Google Meet, Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams, we can share screens, take screenshots and make joint notes online.

We can help everyone
Every day is a learning day and tutoring can help everyone. It can support children who are finding maths particularly challenging in school through to the talented student who is working for a level 9 in their GSCE. We have also helped with revision support for entrance exams and mature students who want to freshen up their English skills for their functional skills qualification.

I’ve just come off the phone with a parent who’s seriously considering homeschooling. There are SO many FREE resources out there to help but they’re hidden away. It’s now one of my missions to help publicise them. There won’t be a one size fits all but it’ll be a start. Watch this space!
